1st Post!

Ok first post and where best to start but with a post on foundations. I’m looking for my HG (Holy Grail) foundation. I have dry skin and I’m prone to blocked pores. I also have yellow undertones which is crap if you wanna buy a cheap foundation because any high street foundation seems to come up pink. I don’t touch up as I don’t really have the time and I could never be one of those women you see on the train or bus applying their make up in public – too personal!

So at the moment I love Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich Liquid Foundation (£23.49)

Yes this is pricey but I’ve found something that covers my imperfections, suits my skin colouring and doesn’t rub off (unless I want it too). Now I’ve only been using BB for a month. (I brought 2 testers from eBay and still have a way to go before I need to think about repurchasing). I was using MAC select SPF15. Crap. Never properly matched, would have to mix two shades, which is no mean feat at 6 in the morning. Do I look like Picasso? It would rub off instantly and throughout the day would oxidize and go orangey on me. Plus it never covered that well. I’m still soldiering on and using my MAC select concealer until I find a decent one. To be honest Im going off MAC altogether but that’s a whole other story for a whole other post…..
